CREATIVE WRITER

Position Description and Applicant Criteria

D.O.P.E. Publishing is looking for a Creative Writer to serve in its Ghostwriting/Co-Writing Department supporting authors and aspiring authors with getting their dreams on paper. It's a freelance position, so you can take on as much or as little work as you can effectively commit to producing. Writing projects have an average starting rate of $1500-$3000.

THE ESSENTIALS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Strong history of multi-genre and multi-purpose writing experience is a must.

• Knowledge of literature genres preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Fine Arts, or related field preferred.

• Advanced degree in related field also welcome.

• Customer service and interpersonal relationship building skills are necessary with strong verbal and written skills.

• Must be willing to provide writing sample and complete a skills assessment.
